This Bag is Packed!

And it's off to Wisconsin. I found this vintage JC Higgins luggage last May. When I flew home with it as a carry-on bag from Seattle to LA, I got so many comments and compliments about it. One guy at the security checkpoint could not stop talking about how cool the bag was.

Fast forward, and one lucky duck in Wisconsin is now the proud owner of this vintage beauty. I hope this person's travels are always safe and full of fun and adventure!

Bozeman, Montana.....Here I Come!

I received an e-mail last week from a shop owner in Bozeman, Montana. She really liked my Fuzzy Pom Pom Hat. Long story short, these cute hats will be in her shop, Twitterpated Kids this fall! I'm in the process of knitting 16 of these to be shipped to Montana in a couple of weeks. I am so excited to be in this adorable shop! Check out their cute set up. I'll be there soon!

The Team Nancy Headband

This cute little pink flowered headband was designed as a fundraser for Team Nancy.

They're $7.50, and 85 cents to ship. I am donating $7 from the sale of each of these headbands to Komen for the Cure via Team Nancy. You can click here if you'd like to purchase.

Team Nancy is important to me because Nancy was my husband's cousin. She was 25 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer after finding a lump in her breast during a self-exam. Until her death four years later, she was an advocate of research, treatment, and detection. The Komen Organization is the world's largest network of survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all, and find a cure. Team Nancy participates in the Cincinnati Race for the Cure in honor of Nancy.

Thank you so much for your support!

Guess What?

I met with Lisa of Vintage Baby & Kids Too today, and we are definitely going to put some of my hand-made goods in the store! I'm so excited!!! I've been working on some headbands and other fun stuff ever since I got back from our meeting. Since it was 105 degrees outside for most of the day, it was a great day to be inside crafting.

When it finally cooled off a bit, I got some shots of the headbands. These will be in the shop later this week for $9. I'll be taking custom orders as well (just in time for football season!). If you want one, send me an e-mail by clicking on the "contact me" link above, or check my Etsy shop.
